Social Media Manager

As a Social Media Manager (40 hours), you’ll be part of our editorial team and work closely with the team under the guidance of our Head of Content. You’ll be responsible for translating the overarching content strategy into powerful social content. You do this not only creatively but also smartly and data-driven.

You know exactly how to make our brand voice resonate on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. You create content that not only inspires and informs but truly connects. You build an engaged community, enhance our brand experience, and leverage trends, AI, and data to continuously improve content creation and distribution.

10,000+ relevant followers on our key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok) in the Netherlands, Germany, and France.

At least 5% higher engagement rate than the industry benchmark, by sharing high-quality and compelling content.

Data-driven optimization of content performance, with continuous A/B tests on impressions, engagement, CTR, and conversion.

Collaborating with at least 5 active ambassadors per year, managed and evaluated based on visibility and conversion.

100% response to all questions and comments within 48 hours on all our social channels – you turn every interaction into an opportunity.

To succeed in this role, you bring a mix of creativity, strategic insight, and hands-on experience. You live and breathe social media, know how to translate stories into content that resonates, and are guided by data and technology.

You’ll work closely with the editorial team, the SEO expert, the Ads Manager, and the Performance Specialist. You are the link between content, distribution, and performance. You understand the power of collaboration and know how to make content impactful.

  • In-depth platform knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube.

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Social Media Manager (5 years is a plus), either at a brand or agency.

  • Content skills: you can create Reels, TikToks, and possibly YouTube videos, and take photos.

  • Copywriting talent for both organic and paid posts, in Dutch.

  • Experience with influencer management: you know how to provide briefings and guide creatives on copy & visuals.

  • Analytical skills: you report, adjust, and know what works – and why.

  • Trend sensitivity: you spend a lot of time on social media and know exactly what’s trending.

  • Creative affinity with DIY and the ability to translate this into engaging social content.

  • Curious about AI and its potential to make your work smarter, faster, and more creative – and you’re willing to experiment with it.
